Air Methods announces Lundberg as president of Blue Hawaiian Helicopters

Gregg Lundberg has been appointed as president of Blue Hawaiian Helicopters. Blue Hawaiian was acquired by Air Methods in December 2013.

Lundberg will succeed Blue Hawaiian Helicopters founders David and Patricia Chevalier who are transitioning into advisory roles.

“Gregg is a great addition to the team and we are thrilled to welcome him to Air Methods,” said Aaron Todd, chief executive officer, Air Methods. “He brings a distinguished career in travel and tourism complemented by his understanding of the Hawaiian culture and the local marketplace,” Todd added.

Before joining Blue Hawaiian Helicopters, Lundberg served as general manager at The Westin Maui Resort & Spa – a Starwood Hotels and Resorts property in Kaanapali, Maui.

Blue Hawaiian began operating in 1985 and now has a fleet of more than 25 aircraft based across the major Hawaiian Islands. It generated $13.8 million for Air Methods during its fourth quarter (ending December 31,2014) and $56.3 million for the first nine months of the acquisition.
