Avincis confirms helicopter talks with Babcock

After press speculation, Avincis confirms that it is in exclusive talks with Babcock International Group PLC.

The Avincis Group, a major helicopter operator that owns the likes Bond Aviation and INAER, has confirmed that it is in exclusive discussions regarding the establishment of a joint venture with Babcock International Group PLC, the UK’s leading engineering support services company.

However, Avincis says there can be no certainty that these discussions will lead to any transaction or any certainty as to the terms upon which any such transaction might proceed.

A further announcement will be made by the company if and when appropriate.

The Avincis Group has four operating subsidiaries, Bond in the UK, INAER in Spain, Australian Helicopters and Norsk Helikopterservice.
