CHI Aviation purchases two EC175 helicopters

CHI Aviation of Howell, Michigan has purchased two Airbus Helicopters Inc EC175 helicopters.

Airbus Helicopters Inc has announced that CHI Aviation of Howell, Michigan has purchased two EC175s aircraft.

The helicopters will be used predominantly in search & rescue missions, but will also support passenger transport for its oil and gas customers on the US Gulf Coast.

“We are excited about the addition of the EC175 to our fleet,” said CHI Aviation president Chris Turner. “Our customers will benefit greatly from the value added service we will provide with this aircraft.”

The two EC175s are the first Airbus Helicopters purchase for CHI and will be delivered in 2017
