Singapore – Russian Helicopters display Mi-38

Russian Helicopters are displaying four helicopters at the 2016 Singapore Air Show.

The manufacturer will display the Mi-171A2 for the first time in Singapore, alongside the Ka32, Mi-38 and Mi-35.

Russian Helicopters say they have increased the top speed, flight range and lifting capacity of the Mi-38 and the Mi-171A2.

Both types are expected to have an increased airframe lifespan with extensive use of composite materials. They also have upgraded avionics featuring ‘glass cockpit’ principles and displays flight information on LCD screens.
