Bell appoints Jacinto Monge as MD, Commercial Business, Europe
Bell's new MD, Commercial Business Europe is Jacinto Monge.
Bell Textron has appointed Jacinto Monge as MD of its Commercial Business in Europe. Monge will represent the manufacturer at European Rotors 2023 in Madrid, Spain on November 28th.
“I am thrilled to attend this year’s European Rotors in my hometown of Madrid,” said Monge. “As one of the largest commercial rotorcraft markets in the world, the European region boasts a diverse range of operators and missions. Bell is experiencing significant growth in this region, and I look forward to delivering advanced, dynamic aircraft and our Global Customer Solutions to customers across Europe.”
Monge previously served as MD for Bell, Asia-Pacific and as the representative director for Bell in Japan. In this role, he led Bell’s commercial business in China, Japan, Korea, India, South East Asia and the Pacific. He played a key role in driving Bell’s business growth in the region, according the company. During his tenure the manufacturer boosted its sales and customer service footprint, adding 326 orders and 281 deliveries.
He facilitated key regional sales including the agreements with Shaanxi Helicopter Company for 100 Bell 407s and Reignwood Aviation for 110 Bell 505s. Other key deals he worked on included: the Republic of Korea’s acquisition of 40 Bell 505s for military training, the Queensland Police Service purchase agreement for three Bell 429s and the acquisitions of the Subaru Bell 412 by Tokyo Metropolitan Police and regional Fire Fighting and Disaster Relief departments.
