NHV Group appoints Lars-Henrik Thorngreen as CEO

NHV Group has hired a new CEO.

NHV Group has appointed Lars-Henrik Thorngreen as its new CEO, effective from Monday, November 18th, 2024.

Thorngreen will oversee NHV’s strategic direction, with a focus on operational excellence, customer satisfaction and new opportunities. Backed by more than three decades of experience in both civil and military aviation, Thorngreen brings a wealth of expertise to his new role, according to the operator and maintenance and repair organisation (MRO).

“We are thrilled to welcome Lars-Henrik back to NHV as CEO,” said Nicolas Darnaud, director of the Board of NHV Group. “His extensive experience, both within NHV and across the wider aviation industry, will be instrumental in leading our organisation into its next phase of growth and innovation.”

Thorngreen is recognised for his “transformative approach to operational processes, fleet logistics, and compliance standards”, added Darnaud.

The new CEO’s previous roles include service with the Danish Air Force, Air Greenland, and other prominent helicopter service operations.

He also served as MD of NHV A/S and chief operations officer for NHV Group, between 2015 to 2018.

The new appointment follows the departure of Thomas Hütsch, who recently stepped down from his role as CEO.
