GDHF has acquired two H160s.
GD Helicopter Finance (GDHF) has acquired two new multi-mission H160 helicopters to be leased to an unnamed customer in China.
Speaking ahead of Helicopter Investor’s two-day London 2026 conference, Michael York, CEO, GDHF said: “We are very proud to complete the acquisition and lease of our ninth and tenth H160 helicopters.
“This transaction is an important growth marker for GDHF, highlighting the versality and strength of our order book, our close partnerships with Airbus, our financiers and our customers. GDHF continues to deliver high-quality, next-generation helicopters that enable bespoke solutions for our customers.”
The two Airbus H160s are part of the lessor’s order book of 50 x H160 helicopters.
Régis Magnac, head of Energy, Leasing and Global Accounts, Airbus Helicopters said the acquisition highlights the global confidence in the H160 as a highly efficient, multi-mission platform.
“With its advanced technology, increased fuel efficiency, and exceptional reliability, the H160 is perfectly suited for demanding operations,” said Magnac. “We value our strong partnership with GDHF and look forward to supporting their continued fleet expansion.”
