Bell receives STC approval for 407GX products

Bell Helicopter receives FAA supplemental type certificate for Bell 407GX products.

Bell Helicopter has received FAA STC approval for its Bell 407GX expanded instrument panel and L-3 Wescam Mx-10 quick mount installation kit. The newly certified products are available through Bell Helicopter’s Aeronautical Accessories brand.

The expanded instrument panel replaces the standard option and has additional panel area for a wider range of equipment locations.

The new L-3 Wescam Mx-10 quick mount installation kit enables quick and easy installation of an L-3 Wescam MX-10 camera.

The camera can be belly-mounted aft of the lower wire strike cutter. Controlled by a cockpit mounted hand control, the kit also includes a laser interlock.
