Erickson gains Wyvern Wingman certificate

Erickson Inc. announces that its air and maintenance operation divisions are now certified as Wyvern Wingman Operators.

The Wyvern Wingman Standard has been recognized as the industry’s gold standard in aviation safety for years and is constantly updated to reflect a commitment to current industry best practices and the highest level of safety culture and protocol.

Art Dawley, chief executive officer of Wyvern said: “Erickson now joins the elite tier of Wyvern Wingman operators which consist of 120 global operators flying over 1,350 aircraft.”

“Our corporate clients and charter broker network will be the beneficiaries our new partnership and we look forward to promoting Erickson throughout our international network. We are proud to award the Wingman designation to Erickson and welcome them to our program of select operators that have committed to the development of a strong and just safety culture,” added Dawley.

Erickson provides heavylift capacity, oil & gas and supporting firefighting as well as other commercial operations. The company has over 80 rotary wing aircraft and is headquartered in Portland, Oregon.
