Russian Helicopters showcase three aircraft at Dubai

Russian Helicopters will demonstrate the latest medium multirole Mi-171A2 alongside the light multirole Ansat in VIP configuration at the Dubai Airshow. The company will also display a firefighting version of the Ka-32A11BC.

The Ka-32 is the most effective way to tackle blazes in skyscrapers is by using fire-fighting helicopters. In 2012 a Ka-32A11BC successfully fought a fire on the 66th and 67th floors of the Moscow-City skyscraper, one of the highest buildings in Russia and Europe. The helicopter operated at an altitude of 270 metres and successfully extinguished the blaze.

Russian Helicopters was founded in 2007 and is headquartered in Moscow. The company comprises five helicopter production facilities, two design bureaus and a spare parts production and repair facility.
