Erickson wins African transport contract

Erickson Incorporated has been awarded a three year, $6.5m blanket purchase agreement by the United States African Command (USAFRICOM).

Erickson is one of a few select vendors that will be providing “on demand” fixed wing aerial services to Department of Defense, transporting personnel and equipment in the Central and East African region.

Currently, Erickson operates aircraft in the Central and East Africa Regions in support of USAFRICOM missions.

The contract commences immediately and has a period of performance extending through November 2018.
