Shaanxi Province orders an Airbus Helicopters H155

China’s Shaanxi Provincial Public Security Department has placed an order with Airbus Helicopters for one H155 medium helicopter.

The aircraft will be delivered early and 2017, and will be used for police, law enforcement and other public services.

“The H155 will be a valuable asset for the security of Shaanxi residents.”

Norbert Ducrot, president of Airbus Helicopters in China said: “The H155 will be a valuable asset for the security of Shaanxi residents. It is a highly efficient helicopter which has proven its capabilities worldwide in a variety of public services missions, and is already being deployed within China, in Shanghai, Dalian, Fuzhou and Hong Kong.”

The H155 can transport up to 12 police to the incident area. Equipment can easily be loaded into the large baggage compartment. The H155 offers unmatched visibility and a discrete sound level for effective surveillance operations.
