Singapore – Seven Kamov Ka32s and two Mil Mi-171s bound for China

Russian Helicopters has used the Singapore Airshow 2016 to announce the signing of a number of contracts to supply seven Ka-32A11BC and two Mi-171 helicopters to operators China, as follows

  • Two Ka-32A11BC to the Department of Public Safety in Qingdao for firefighting
  • Four Ka-32A11BC to Jiangsu Baoli
  • One Ka-32A11BC to Easy Best Group
  • Two Mi-171 to China General Aviation Service

Th etwo Ka-32A11BCs will be delivered in 2017. The rest will be delivered in 2016.

The Ka-32s will join 11 already flying with Chinese customers, three of which were delivered in 2015.

Russian Helicopters offers more than 40 options for firefighting. These include the Bambi-Bucket and Simplex systems, water cannons for horizontal fire fighting, folding transport and lifesaving elevating cabins. The helicopter can also be used for transporting cargo on an external sling or as a crane for installing complex high-rise buildings.
