Blueberry Aviation announces Gianfranco Sottotetti joins commercial team

Aircraft transactions company Blueberry Aviation has added Gianfranco Sottotetti to its commercial team.

Sottotetti’s expertise includes engines, fixed-wing and rotary aircrafts, and Unmanned Aerial Vehicles. He has previoulsy held sales and management positions at Rinaldo Piaggio, Piaggio Aviation as vice president in the US, Rolls Royce, Leonardo Helicopter Division and CEO of Sistemi Dinamici a Leonardo Company.

He has considerable global experience, notably in North and Central America, Europe, Middle East, China, South East Asia, Australasia and the Pacific Islands.

Francois Gautier, CEO of Blueberry Aviation said: “It is a real pleasure to have Gianfranco on board. He is undeniably an asset for the team. He is a recognised expert in the helicopter market and his expertise and connections in Asia and Africa will enable us to bring particular focus on these markets.”

Gautier said Sottotetti’s experience in the VTOL sector will also be valuable to the company.
