Bell Textron has signed a purchase agreement for a Bell 505 helicopter with SECO International, which has been appointed the first dealer in Japan for the model.

SECO International operates a fleet of light helicopters and manages private owners’ aircraft with full operational support through its facility at Nagoya Airport, located on the Pacific coast in Honshu province.

The latest deal follows a letter of intent SECO International signed six years ago for  10 Bell 505s, all of which the OEM has delivered. Jose Jacinto Monge, Asia Pacific, Bell MD said: “We are honoured by the confidence that SECO International continues to show in the Bell 505 through the purchase of its 11th aircraft and by becoming the first Bell 505 dealer in Japan.” Monge looked forward to deepening the relationship with SECO International and providing support to its business with the Bell 505 in Japan. Meanwhile, Bell delivered its 60th Bell 505 to Europe in April 2021.
