Bristow Group has promoted Anne Rappold to the role of chief legal officer and corporate secretary, with immediate effect.
Rappold has served as acting chief legal officer since August 2025. In that role, she led the company’s global Legal and Government Affairs functions.
In her new role, Rappold will continue to oversee the company’s legal, compliance, and government affairs activities and work closely with the rest of the executive leadership team in support of Bristow’s strategic priorities.
Chris Bradshaw, president and CEO of Bristow Group said: “Anne has done an exceptional job guiding our Legal and Government Affairs organisation in support of Bristow’s global operations. We are pleased to formally appoint her as chief legal officer.”
Rappold joined Bristow in June 2023 as deputy general counsel, Americas and Global Risk Management. She previously served as vice president, Government Affairs, Risk & Compliance at Freeport LNG and practiced insurance defence law in New Orleans, Louisiana earlier in her career.
Meanwhile, earlier this month Bristow revealed the completion of its first electric aviation test project. Described as a milestone in its transition to low- and zero-emission aviation, Bristow pilot Jeremy Degagne landed the BETA Technologies ALIA aircraft in Stavanger, Norway. This followed six months of operational testing.
