LCI places Airbus H145D3 with NHV on long-term lease

An Airbus H145D3 has been placed with NHV by lessor LCI.

Operating lessor LCI has placed one Airbus H145D3 with helicopter services provider NHV Group on a long-term lease.

Based in Rotterdam Harbour, the Airbus H145D3 will be deployed on marine pilot transfer (MPT) operations with the Dutch pilot organisation Netherlands Loodswezen.

The new helicopter marks a significant upgrade from the AS365N3 models, which NHV has operated on this contract for the past 25 years, said the company.

Nigel Leishman, chief commercial officer of LCI said the lessor was delighted to be expanding its longstanding relationship with NHV Group. “This latest-generation H145D3 underscores our commitment to delivering innovative and sustainable leasing solutions, and supporting our clients’ evolving needs,” said Leishman.

Meanwhile on Monday NHV Group revealed it had won a multi-year contract with sustainable energy specialist Vestas for offshore wind operations in the North Sea using Airbus H175 super-medium helicopters.
