Eurocopter EC130 T2 on European tour
Eurocopter is showcasing the new EC130 T2 helicopter with emphasis on its capacity for aerial work in a tour of several European countries.
Eurocopter are demonstrating the new EC130 T2 in several European countries. Unveiled at Heli Expo 2012 in Dallas, where it registered a total of 105 bookings, the new version of the EC130 helicopter was awarded EASA certification in May of 2012 and FAA certification on July of 2012. The first EC130 T2 was delivered last week to Maverick Aviation Group, a leader in the Las Vegas and Grand Canyon tourism industry.
The helicopter already has been showcased in Evian, France, the tour continues with flight demonstrations in Switzerland, Italy, The Netherlands and Sweden before finishing up the tour in Norway on 15 October.
This demo tour provides a unique occasion for aerial work operators to test the outstanding operational performances of the latest member of the Ecureuil family.
