Qiqihar Kun Feng places helicopter order with Bell

Qiqihar Kun Feng General Aviation has placed an order with Bell for delivery of two Bell 407GX helicopters. The Chinese agricultural company also signed a letter of intent for five Bell 505s.

“For many years Qiqihar Kun Feng has utilised leased helicopters in their operations. We are proud they have chosen Bell helicopters as they build a reliable fleet of self-owned aircraft,” said Chris Jaran, vice president for Bell Helicopter in China .

The company also says that the helicopters will mostly be used as crop sprayers.

“We are pleased to work with Bell Helicopter’s team in China as we expand our operations,” said Zhu Dayong, managing director. “We look forward to taking ownership of the Bell 407 and 505 aircraft and employing the enhanced capabilities they bring.”
