Frank Graham, United Rotorcraft’s senior director of global sales and marketing, said: “United Rotorcraft is proud to partner with Airbus on the EC130 T2 EMS demonstrator and marketing programme. This programme also allows United Rotorcraft to leverage our position as the first EC130 T2 interior kit with a Federal Aviation Administration-approved Supplemental Type Certificate (STC), as well as highlighting our unique product line.”

“We are confident our highly capable interior and external products will contribute to the EC130 T2’s popularity and success both domestically and globally,” Graham added.

The aircraft will be part of Airbus’s EMS demonstrator programme and will be included in a multi city tour across the United States this summer.

Treg Manning, Airbus Helicopters’ vice president of sales and marketing, said: “The EC130 T2 is the next generation single-engine aircraft that can provide both high performance and lower costs for the air medical industry.”

“The T2 provides a more accessible and roomier working environment and unparalleled flexibility in equipment configuration, not to mention upgraded safety features that are standard with this helicopter. We are excited about the upcoming tour and the opportunity to showcase this aircraft to our friends in the air medical industry,” added Manning.
