Ed Washecka, CEO of Waypoint, said: “We are excited to officially announce our presence in Singapore after serving the growing Asia Pacific market and working with local and multinational operators since our first transaction with Hevilift.”

“I have worked with Philip for many years – he has deep knowledge of the region and strong relationships with dozens of helicopter operations.  I am confident that under his supervision, we will replicate Waypoint’s success across the globe and deliver superior value to operators through differentiated and flexible financing solutions,” added Washecka.

Philip Stransky, director of sales and business development in Asia, said: “I am thrilled to be leading Waypoint’s Asia operations and working closely with Ed and the rest of the team to expand our existing relationships and develop new ones in this important helicopter leasing market.  As regional operators increasingly seek customized financing solutions, we are well-positioned to meet that demand and navigate the complex and nuanced aviation landscape adeptly and opportunistically.”

Stransky has worked in Singapore for five years and has seven years of global upstream oil and gas experience, ultimately focused on business development and contract negotiation.
