Heli-Expo – Heli-One increase Stavangar capabilities

Heli-One are adding a range of new capabilities at their Stavangar overhaul centre.

The company is adding overhaul capabilities for the Turbomeca Makila 2A and 2A1, found in the EC225. They are also adding Hot Section Overhaul capability for the General Electric CT7-8A.

Overhaul of rotor blades is also seeing expansion, with AW139 Main Rotor Blade Repair capability.

Heli-One has confirmed that they are developing a custom SAR modification to the Airbus H225 for parent company CHC. No operational dates, or intended customers, have been revealed.
