Heli-One facility at Rzeszow, Poland

The FAA has given repair station approval to the Heli-One facility at Rzeszow in Poland.  The facility, which opened in 2014, provides base maintenance support for Airbus AS332, H225, and H135 aircraft. In addition, it offers component repairs such as the AW139 exhaust duct.

This approval offers US-based operators or US-registered aircraft a new cost-efficient maintenance alternative at a state-of-the-art facility with competitive turnaround times.

This latest certificate achieved by the Heli-One Poland facility is in addition to other approved maintenance organisation certificates from the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA), Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) of the Cayman Islands, NATO Allied Quality Assurance Publications (AQAP) 2120, Transport Canada Civil Aviation (TCCA), and National Civil Aviation Institute of Angola.

The Rzeszow facility is also used by Heli-One parent company CHC as the storage location for at least twelve AS332 Super Puma helicopters.
