Petrofac signs contract with Bristow for North Sea flights

Bristow Helicopters has signed a contract with offshore service provider Petrofac to operate in the North Sea using both Sikorsky S92 and Airbus H225 aircraft. The deal was announced this week, but started in March for a three year term, with two additional one year extension options. Petrofac previously bought flight time with Bristow aircraft on an ad-hoc basis.

Initial flights will be direct to a central North Sea platform with additional scope later in the contract to add other locations.

Petrofac is service provider to the oil and gas production and processing industry. It designs, builds, operates and maintains oil and gas facilities.
