Luxaviation partners with Heliflite
Luxaviation has partnered with American operator Heliflite to expand its US Helicopter services and fleet into the US.
This is the first international partnership for Luxaviation’s helicopter division and will it to expand its charter flights to and from New York, Chicago and Florida.
The announcement was made at Luxaviation’s booth at EBACE on Wednesday.

Luxaviation manages 50 helicopters under a number of different regulatory frameworks. It has 54 FBOs globally and employs more than 1,700 people. Its designated helicopter firm, Luxaviation Helicopters, was launched in November 2016.

VVIP in 2018
In interviews with operators at EBACE 2018, HI learned most were confident about the future of the VVIP market. Just prior to the official announcement at EBACE 2018 Ms Pederson said:
“The VVIP market is growing, there is upwards momentum there as well as interest in helicopters in general. We are extremely optimistic about the market right now.
“The business aviation sector is seeing that helicopters are the perfect complementary service to the jet market. The jets take you from A to B and the helicopters can take you from there to private destinations, it is important that we go out and talk about each market.”
