ASA grants Alastair Fallon accredited senior appraiser status
The American Society of Appraisers has granted Alastair Fallon, helicopter aviation analyst with data intelligence business IBA Group, accredited senior appraiser status in materials technical speciality (MTS) aircraft.
Backed by more than 30 years of aviation experience in both civilian and military roles, Fallon joined IBA in 2015 and is responsible for the group’s helicopter appraisals. He regularly represents IBA Group at international events hosted by aviation groups, financial bodies and helicopter manufacturers.
After serving as an officer in the Royal Air Force, Fallon conducted research into the development by Boeing and Airbus at City University into extended-range twin-engine operations performance standards (ETOPS) aircraft. Fallon then became course director of the undergraduate programme for cadet pilots on the BSc Air Transport Operations, which includes training up to Commercial Pilot’s Licence standard. He is an elected member of the Royal Aeronautical Society (MRAeS).
Meanwhile, helicopter appraisals feature in our sister publication Corporate Jet Investor Quarterly’s feature article Appraising the appraisers: balancing art with science. Register for your copy of CJIQ here or read the digital version here.
