Nova Capital fleet passes 100 aircraft
Aircraft lessor Nova Capital announced its 100th owned and managed aircraft bringing its total fleet value to $500m. This came following the award of a sale and leaseback facility for six new Airbus H145D3s in EMS configuration.
The portfolio additions mean Nova now owns 89 helicopters and 14 fixed-wing aircraft.
All the new H145D3 will be equipped with the latest five-blade rotor technology. They will join 41 existing Nova helicopters that are already in Europe on EMS missions. New aircraft will be on long-term lease contracts and maintenance programmes from Airbus Helicopters and Safran Helicopter engines.
Deliveries are expected from December 2021 to April 2022.
Olivier Piot, founder and CEO of Nova Capital Group said: “We are delighted to further reinforce our presence in the European EMS market with these state-of-the-art assets.
“I want to warmly thank all of the Nova Capital team members and partners, who through their continuing efforts over many years have contributed so much to our ongoing success, while also helping to provide many mission critical services for our wider community.”
Nova Capital completes 20 years in business next year.
