European Rotors HI Finance Forums probe 2024 trends and leasing

The future of the global helicopter market next year plus key trends in helicopter leasing are the subjects of two Helicopter Investor Finance Forums, which will take place on Wednesday November 29th at next week’s European Rotors event in Madrid, Spain.

The first forum – The State of the Market in 2024 – will explore the future of the global helicopter market. Will rising demand for offshore energy supplies continue to drive helicopter industry growth? How long will supply chain challenges continue to brake industry progress?  What will Air Methods’ decision to file for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection mean for the North American Emergency Medical Services (HEMS) market. These and other key questions will be answered by our panel of industry insiders.

Speakers include: Sara Dhariwal, senior aviation analyst, Ascend by Cirium, David Martin, segment specialist, Offshore, Bell Flight, Clark McGinn, principal of Uplifting Advice and Will Sturm, vice president, Sales, Aero Asset.

The second forum – The Future of Helicopter Leasing – will dissect key trends in helicopter leasing.  Panellists will discuss what lessors offer operators, a helicopter’s economic life plus a lessor’s perspective on advanced air mobility (AAM). Taking part will be Con Barber, chief investment officer, Macquarie, Nigel Leishman, chief commercial officer, LCI and Pat Sheedy, president and CEO, Milestone Aviation.

Both forums will take place on Wednesday November 29th in the Quiet Conference Area of the European Rotors main hall. The first forum begins at 15:30 CET and the second at 16:45 CET. European Rotors is organised by the European Helicopter Association (EHA) and Helicopter Association International (HAI) at the IFEMA Madrid Fair Centre, Spain. This year’s event, featuring more than 24 rotorcraft, brings together rotorcraft manufacturers, suppliers, and operators. The four-day event opens on Monday November 27th at the IFEMA Madrid Fair Centre, Hall 9.
