PHI MRO Services signs supplier deal with Leonardo

PHI MRO Services has signed a support deal with Leonardo.

PHI MRO Services has signed a strategic supplier agreement with Leonardo. Under the terms of the multi-year agreement, the  MRO company will provide specialised services to support Leonardo’s operations, including  component shop capabilities.

The helicopter maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) specialist is honoured to be appointed an approved supplier for Leonardo, said James Hinch, chief operations officer (COO) of PHI Aviation – Americas. “This collaboration is a significant milestone for our teams, underscoring our commitment to delivering exceptional quality and reliability,” he said. “We’re proud to leverage our expertise to support Leonardo’s mission and look forward to continuing our longstanding partnership.”

Maurizio D’Angelo, vice president of Customer Support & Services and Training at Leonardo welcomed the new vendor agreement with the MRO company. “This partnership marks an exciting new step forward in our relationship with PHI, as we align our strengths and shared vision to create value and unlock new opportunities,” he said.

The PHI MRO specialist offers a range of services including anti corrosion measures, component overhaul, routine maintenance and inspections, paint and upholstery work and modifications.

Meanwhile, in August PHI Aviation signed a sale and leaseback agreement for one super-medium Airbus H175 with  Milestone Aviation. The helicopter is flying offshore energy missions.
